Granted, we don't have men in tuxedos and towels over their arms catering to
your every whim, but you do get excellent service from our experienced, friendly
staff, and personal attention from the resort owners. You won't be lost in the
shuffle at Moosehorn Lodge. EXPERIENCE Moosehorn Lodge has been around since 1949 and is owned and operated
by two Sioux Lookout residents, Carter and Linda Rice. We know how to do it
right. Each of our guides has a minimum of 10 years experience on our lakes.

The quality of sport fishing in Northwest Ontario is legendary.
Due to our modern conservation practices, fishing in the Sioux Lookout region
will only improve as time goes on. The old cliche goes "Fishing has never been
better", but in our region, it is a reality. The plain truth is that the fish
are larger and there are more of them now than there were 50 years ago. That's
what separates us from the rest of the pack, and that's what you are looking
for on your fishing vacation. 
They
come equipped with 50 HP Yamaha 4-stroke electric starting motors with tilt and
trim. Also available are our new Harbercraft 21 ft. bowriders available with a guide.
These are equipped with new 150 Yamaha 4-stroke motors and 8 hp, four stroke Yamaha kickers. The
motors are replaced every second year to insure their reliability. We want you
to have a fun, comfortable, trouble-free day on the lake. One other thing...because
we enjoy on-the-water access to 6 connected lakes (Minnitaki, Abram, Botsford
Pelican, Lost and Lac Seul) you can put your gear in your boat when you arrive
and remove it when you depart at the end of your stay...you don't have to keep
moving your equipment for each fishing day. We will even clean out the
boat every day after you are done fishing.
